Cubs Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 27th , 2025 The Chicago (VSL) Cubs never had much playoff hope this season anyway, but now it's official -- the team has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason. The Cubs have missed the playoffs 7 times in their 11 years as a Venezuelan Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2020. Chicago (VSL) last won the Wildcard Series in 2020. |
