López Wins VSL's Best Bat Trophy Monday, September 1st , 2025 Things came easily for Juan López in August, and the Tampa Bay (VSL) left fielder has been named the Venezuelan Rookie League Batter of the Month. He won the award on the strength of a .467 batting average, in addition to 6 home runs, 26 RBIs, 22 runs scored and a .510 on-base percentage. To date, López has collected 75 hits for a .399 average. He has posted 11 home runs, scored 39 runs and driven in 44 runs. |
