Milwaukee, Oakland Close Deal Thursday, July 31st , 2025 The Brewers and Athletics confirmed this afternoon that a trade had been agreed upon. In the deal, Milwaukee will get 28-year old LHP Tommy Meyers, while Oakland will receive $2,000,000 in cash. Oakland will retain a portion of Meyers's remaining contract. To date this year, he has registered 7 saves, 8 wins and 7 losses with a 3.48 ERA. Meyers has made 50 relief appearances, worked a total of 62 innings and surrendered 51 hits. He has fanned 58, issued 10 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .217 batting average. |
