AL Trophy Goes to Seager of Seattle Monday, September 1st , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Corey Seager was in a class by himself in the American League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for Seattle tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 2 homers, 6 runs scored and 8 RBIs. So far this season, Seager is batting .295 with 17 home runs. |
