Early Season End for Barrett Friday, September 5th , 2025 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Miami's Jake Barrett to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 09/02/2025 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Barrett said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Barrett has been out of action since he suffered a torn rotator cuff. This season, Barrett has made 49 relief appearances, saving 18. His record is 7-7 with 41 strikeouts in 49.1 innings and a 2.55 ERA. |
