5-Hit Blitz by Chicago's Wilson Thursday, September 18th , 2025 Kevin Wilson had an answer for everything the Cincinnati Reds threw at him at Great American Ball Park. The Chicago third baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Cubs a win, 8-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Wilson said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Kevin Wilson singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
