Milwaukee Moves on to League Championship Series Friday, October 10th , 2025 The sweet swing of Billy Wood has led his team through the League Divisional Series. The Milwaukee Brewers star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Washington Nationals to advance to the League Championship Series. The Brewers won the final game at Miller Park by a score of 3-2 and the series 3-2. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Wood. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Wood hit .400 with a .435 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Milwaukee Brewers will play against the Miami Marlins in the next round. Miami won their series against the Los Angeles Dodgers 3 games to 2.
