Phillips Grabs AL Reliever of the Year Award Monday, November 10th , 2025
At the young age of only 25, Kevin Phillips has been named the American League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2025.
The future appears bright for the Los Angeles Angels relief ace, who captured the award with 1 save in 103 relief appearances, 112 strikeouts in 100.1 innings and a record of 5-4 to go with his 2.96 ERA.
He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 30. Clarence Rice of the Detroit Tigers finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Ron Oliver of the Los Angeles Angels finished third with 1 first place vote.
