The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the National League reliever who put forward the strongest season.

This season, that player was Jorge Gonzáles of the Arizona Diamondbacks, who was above all his peers in 2025.

"I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year."

On the season, Gonzáles pitched 94 innings, with 99 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.20. He also had 27 saves in 91 relief appearances.

He received 29 first place votes out of a possible 30. Dan Caine of the Arizona Diamondbacks finished second in voting, while Anthony DeSclafani of the Cincinnati Reds finished third with 1 first place vote.
