Miami-Los Angeles Trade Confirmed Sunday, November 30th , 2025 Miami and Los Angeles announced today in a joint press conference that 25-year old 1B Norberto Zavala, 22-year old minor league LF Billy Sargent, 23-year old minor league RHP Luis Fuentes, and 24-year old minor league SS Rodrigo MartÃnez will be going to the Dodgers in exchange for 29-year old SS Sergio Alcantara. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. Zavala has a lifetime .287 average and .337 on-base percentage in his career with 95 hits, 14 doubles, 2 triples, 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and 45 runs scored. Alcantara has 900 career hits with a .252 batting average and 25 home runs. |
