San Diego Players Star in New Commercial Monday, January 19th , 2026 The San Diego Padres have put out a new television commercial promoting the upcoming season. The commercial features members of the team visiting a variety of San Diego landmarks and playing pranks on one another. "We had a lot of fun doing them and I think the fans will like the commercials too," said Tim McDaniel, who is featured prominently in the ads. Well-known team jokester Steve Eggert is also featured regularly in the ads, usually the one playing the pranks. "I had fun making fun of my teammates, who were trying to pretend they were big-time actors," Eggert said. The commercials are set to start airing soon in the local market. |
