González in Command, No-Hits Athletics Thursday, March 26th , 2026 Los Angeles Angels starter Leonardo González came up big at Angel Stadium of Anaheim with an exceptional 9-0 win against the Oakland Athletics. Not only did he whip them, but González held them hitless, too. "My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed González. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens."
