Rodríguez Struts Stuff in Win Over Boston
Friday, April 3rd , 2026
In a seemingly effortless performance, Jesús Rodríguez of the San Diego Padres shot down the Boston Red Sox, 7-0, on 3 hits.
"Jesús was just locating so well and using his pitches," San Diego manager Darin Everson said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Rodríguez recorded 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Boston manager Alvin Morman said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
