Franco Injured, Day-to-Day Friday, April 10th , 2026 Philadelphia's star third baseman Maikel Franco injured himself in a game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a sore achilles tendon and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Franco with a smile as he talked to reporters. This season, Franco is batting at a .288 clip with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
