AL Player of the Week Awarded Monday, April 13th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Ernie Jones of the Cleveland Guardians. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .524, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American League. Last week Jones went 11-for-21, racked up 1 home run and 9 RBIs and scored 3 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Cleveland third baseman. In the 2026 season Jones is hitting .290 with 3 home runs. |
