Star of the Week Awarded in NL Monday, April 20th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Juan Encarnación of the St. Louis Cardinals. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .417, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the National League. Last week Encarnación went 10-for-24, racked up 2 home runs and 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs. It was a heck of a week for the St. Louis right fielder. This year, Encarnación is batting .231 with 5 home runs. |
