Today at Citi Field, the Minnesota Twins fell to the New York Mets despite a splendid performance by left fielder Andy Townsend.
Townsend had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Mets pitching for 5 base hits, but it was not enough for Minnesota to come away with the win. New York whipped Minnesota by a score of 11-6.
