Andujar Keeps Hit Streak Alive

Miguel Andujar's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Pittsburgh. The 31-year-old third baseman extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 3-for-5 performance against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Pirates won the game, 9-3.
"People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Miguel Andujar hit a two-run home run off Kurt Heyer in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
This year, Andujar has socked 23 hits in 59 at-bats for a .390 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .400 pace and his totals also include 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
