Injury Shuts Down Groza for Season Monday, May 11th , 2026 Obviously disappointed, Camil Groza confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Kansas City third baseman offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 24-year-old Groza suffered a broken kneecap on 05/08/2026 and has been out of action since. This season, Groza is hitting .349 with 52 hits, 1 home run, 20 RBIs, scored 21 runs and played in 35 games. |
