Houston, Oakland Confirm Swap Thursday, May 28th , 2026 Today at a press conference the Houston Astros announced a trade has been completed with the Oakland Athletics. The Astros have shipped 32-year old 1B Jonathan Roberts to the Athletics for 25-year old minor league LHP Arturo Flores and 19-year old minor league RF Don Jones. Houston will retain a portion of Roberts's remaining contract. A look at his current stats shows Roberts with a .243 average, 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has played in 46 games. |
