Seattle, St. Louis Confirm Deal Sunday, May 31st , 2026 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Seattle and St. Louis have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 23-year old minor league RF Gerald Phillipson to the Cardinals with 18-year old minor league C Luis Manuel Muñóz joining the Mariners. Seattle general manager Damon Macioce would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. |
