Early Season End for Álvarez Monday, June 1st , 2026 Alfredo Álvarez had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a torn rotator cuff on 05/30/2026. Today he received word from the Atlanta doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. So far this season, Álvarez is 2-and-2 with 1 save and a 3.02 ERA. He has given up 41 hits in 44.2 innings with 25 strikeouts. |
