He went 1-for-5 in today's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Miami won the ballgame, 8-4. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Kurt Daniel struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This year, Daniel is batting .313 with 1 home run.
