La Arena Earns AL Rookie of Month Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 Ramão La Arena's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Kansas City center fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In June he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .333 with 3 doubles, no triples and 5 home runs. La Arena also scored 12 times and drove in 24 runs. This season, La Arena has posted a batting average of .326 with 58 hits in 178 at-bats, 7 home runs and 33 RBIs. He has also scored 28 runs, walked 23 times and compiled a .418 OBP. |
