Colorado, Seattle Swap Players Saturday, July 11th , 2026 The Rockies and Mariners announced a deal that was completed today. Colorado sent 27-year old LHP Dave Kirkpatrick to Seattle for 36-year old RHP Sonny Gray and 20-year old minor league RHP Arturo Hernández. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. This year, Kirkpatrick has earned 18 saves, made 36 relief appearances, fanned 38 hitters in 38.2 innings and posted an ERA of 3.26 and a 1-4 record. |
