González Honored by American League Monday, July 13th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Raúl González of the Detroit Tigers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .435, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American League. Last week González went 10-for-23, racked up 3 home runs and 12 RBIs and scored 5 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Detroit left fielder. González is hitting .330 this year with 22 home runs and 64 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .392, 30 walks and scored 56 times. |
