Texas, Oakland Confirm Trade Thursday, July 30th , 2026 Texas and Oakland announced some roster changes today as the Rangers acquired 24-year old minor league 3B Luis Sánchez from the Athletics in exchange for 26-year old minor league 2B Jorge García and 30-year old minor league 1B Chris Moody. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. García is hitting .319 so far this season with 18 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 108 hits including 1 home run, 5 walks and .346 OBP. |
