Trade: Martínez for Wade Friday, July 31st , 2026 The Rockies and Yankees have been engaged in a little wheeling and dealing. They have just concluded a trade with 27-year old RF Sergio Martínez and 23-year old minor league 2B António López going to New York in exchange for 24-year old minor league RHP Billy Bell and 19-year old minor league RHP Derek Wade. For the season, Martínez is batting .256 with 89 hits and 11 home runs. He has scored 44 times and batted in 40. |
