Marlins Send Leone to Milwaukee Friday, July 31st , 2026 The Miami Marlins swapped 34-year old RHP Dominic Leone for 22-year old minor league RHP Sam Tait of the Brewers after what Milwaukee officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations. To this point in the season, Leone has put up these figures: 1-4 record, 35 relief appearances with 29.2 innings, 7 saves, 23 strikeouts, 5 walks and a 3.03 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .231 batting average. |
