Franco Put on Shelf, Listed DTD Friday, July 31st , 2026 The Philadelphia Phillies received some welcome news this morning. They will not need to place third baseman Maikel Franco on the injured list. During yesterday's game against the Baltimore Orioles, he was injured running the bases. The injury, however, is not serious. The Philadelphia star performer is listed as day-to-day with a strained hip flexor. This year, Franco is batting .325 with 22 home runs and 82 RBIs. In 102 games he has scored 57 times. |
