July's Best Newcomer Named by NL Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Pitcher Jim Olsen of the San Francisco Giants was the top-ranked rookie in the National League last month and today the league picked him as the Rookie of the Month trophy winner. In July his record was 3-1 with a 2.25 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 28 innings. This year, Olsen has compiled a 8-5 record with a 3.42 ERA. |
