Jackson NL's Best of the Week Monday, August 3rd , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Alex Jackson of the Pittsburgh Pirates. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .385, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the National League. Last week Jackson went 10-for-26, racked up 5 home runs and 12 RBIs and scored 10 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Pittsburgh right fielder. Currently Jackson is hitting .271 and has collected 17 home runs, 52 RBIs and scored 67 times, while playing in 90 games. |
