Phillies Lindor Injured in Off-Field Incident Wednesday, August 5th , 2026 Francisco Lindor, Philadelphia shortstop, will be out of service for 10 months. According to club officials, he had an unfortunate off-the-field accident and suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament when he chased away a mugger. Lindor has collected 108 hits for the Phillies this year, 10 of them home runs. He has also netted 46 RBIs and scored 63 runs while batting .249. |
