3-Homer Hat Trick for Jackson Tuesday, August 11th , 2026 Alex Jackson was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 18-9 Pittsburgh Pirates triumph at LoanDepot Park. The 30-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Pirates past the Miami Marlins. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Jackson told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The right fielder went 5-for-6, rung up 9 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day. Alex Jackson struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Steve Lawson in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Raymond Rodriguez in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Joe Malone in the 9th. For the year, Jackson has hit at a .280 clip with 63 RBIs, 21 home runs and 74 runs scored. |
