Jackson on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Miami Tuesday, August 11th , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Alex Jackson of the Pittsburgh Pirates at LoanDepot Park. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Jackson finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Pirates to a win, 18-9. "Jackson was really good and we were really bad," groaned Marlins manager John Patterson. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
