Flores Picked Best Player Monday, August 17th , 2026 Wilmer Flores had a week for the ages as he romped to the National League Player of the Week Award. The happy-go-lucky 35-year-old still plays ball like a kid, mashing and slashing as he goes. The Atlanta Hammers first baseman hit .522 last week as he chalked up 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
