Boston-New York Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, August 28th , 2026 Bo Dawson of the Boston Red Sox and Jonathon Carroll of the New York Yankees will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Red Sox-Yankees game at Yankee Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Dawson and Carroll will begin serving them soon. Dawson is hitting at a .245 mark this season. His stats show 17 home runs, 42 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has played 112 games for the Red Sox. In 28 starts this year, Carroll has crafted a 9-10 record and a 4.09 ERA. |
