Los Angeles Captures National League West Division Crown Saturday, August 29th , 2026 The Los Angeles Dodgers clubhouse more closely resembled a college party tonight as the team officially captured the National League West Division. Laughter abounded and loud music blared as players and coaches alike celebrated the accomplishment. "It's not often you get to kick back and let loose with your teammates," said starting pitcher Josuke Mizuno. "We've earned the right to party a little bit. And then we can focus on getting it done in the playoffs." Team manager Torey Lovullo said even the coaching staff can enjoy occasions like this. "I'm proud of my guys, they deserve this," he said. It's the 31st division championship for the team, and they will be seeking their 8th Major League Baseball championship. |
