Manny Machado Out of Lineup, Listed DTD Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 The Washington Nationals said it will be up to third baseman Manny Machado whether he plays or not. He suffered a day-to-day injury in yesterday's game against the Atlanta Hammers and could be missing a few games. Machado was hurt while running the bases and sustained a strained hip flexor. Team doctors told him it could up to 3 weeks before he heals completely. So far this season, Machado is hitting .319 with 7 home runs, 41 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 94 hits in 295 at-bats and a .367 OBP. |
