Los Angeles Won't Make Playoffs Saturday, September 26th , 2026 It evidently wasn't meant to be for the Los Angeles Angels in 2026. Despite being relevant in the playoff race down the stretch, the team has fallen short of qualifying and will watch the postseason from the sidelines. Before this season, the Angels had made the playoffs 7 times in a row. In the 66 years they have been a Major League Baseball franchise, they have missed the playoffs 48 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Angels have made the playoffs 8 times. Los Angeles last won the World Series in 2023. |
