Philadelphia Advances to League Divisional Series Thursday, October 1st , 2026 The Philadelphia Phillies outclassed the Milwaukee Brewers in all facets of the game throughout the NL Wildcard Series. The end result was a Philadelphia series sweep to advance to the League Divisional Series, capped off by a 7-3 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said left fielder Michael Garnier, who hit .600 in the series. Garnier's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .636 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Philadelphia Phillies will play against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the next round.
