Tampa Bay to Lose Ramírez for 4 Weeks Friday, October 2nd , 2026 Ismael Ramírez will have to wait a while longer. The Tampa Bay second baseman was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4 weeks with chronic back soreness. The injury has kept him off the field since 10/01/2026. Though Ramírez had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." At the moment, Ramírez is batting .280 with 9 home runs and 46 RBIs. He has played in 125 games and scored 63 times. |
