Dodgers Heading to World Series Friday, October 16th , 2026 Fans of the Pittsburgh Pirates groaned when Maake Arnold stepped up to the plate in the League Championship Series. And for good reason too, as the Los Angeles Dodgers player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-1 series win over the Pirates. The series was clinched tonight at PNC Park, with Los Angeles coming out on top 8-3 in the deciding game. Arnold's strong series included a .450 batting average, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Los Angeles Dodgers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Detroit Tigers - Boston Red Sox series. Detroit leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 20th , 2026. View Boxscore View Game Log Watch Highlights |
