Castro Helps Burlington Cruise to 12-3 Win
|
The Burlington Bees marched over the Kane County Cougars, 12-3, at Community Field. José Castro led the charge. He hit 3 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored three times. Jarred Smith came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 4-2. By defeating Kane County, the last-place Bees improved to 45-73.
