The Beloit Snappers picked up a win at Harry C. Pohlman Field, taking down the Burlington Bees, 6-3. Starting pitcher Daniel Negrón was a big reason why. Negrón got the win, improving to 2-6. He gave up 8 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. He allowed 3 runs. The victory gives the Snappers a record of 61-59.

The Snappers got a big at-bat from third baseman Max Owens. For the game, Owens was 1 for 3 with a double. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 18th double of the season gave Beloit a 3-2 lead.

Beloit manager Nelson Liriano was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
