Parkview Field was the site for Midwest League action featuring the Fort Wayne TinCaps and South Bend Cubs.

The South Bend Cubs dealt the Fort Wayne TinCaps a 6-2 loss at Parkview Field. Zach Kennedy, who is tied for 6th in the MID with a .412 on-base percentage, was the star on offense. He was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Doug Hancock recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 1 for 1.

It could have been a different outcome for South Bend, had it not been for Phil Lind, the 25-year old center fielder . Lind contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put South Bend up, 3-0.
