The South Bend Cubs dealt the Lake County Captains a 4-2 loss at Classic Park. Héctor Olivo, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2023 draft, was the star on offense. He went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ed Green, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher.
