De La Torre reaches base 3 times, Thunder Move to 13-5
The Trenton Thunder did just enough to sneak past the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 7-6, at Arm & Hammer Park. Trenton second baseman António De La Torre, in particular, had a standout performance. Luis C. Gonzalez finished to wrap up his 3rd save. The loss makes the Fisher Cats 6-12.

With Trenton trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth, De La Torre hit a fastball from Ed Buschlen for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Thunder ahead, 6-4.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said De La Torre. "And not try to do too much."
