Washington turned a good effort from starter Steve Moss into a win over the New York Mets at Citi Field. The final score was 4-2. Dominic Bingham earned the save for Washington, his 10th. With the win, Washington improves its record to 19-12.

Lucius Fox Jr. came through with a big-time hit for Washington. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Moss said his team "played with determination."
