Fightin Phils Snatch 3-2 Win from Rock Cats
In a tight contest between the Reading Fightin Phils and the New Britain Rock Cats, Dave Steward was the determining factor. The Reading right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. The loss puts New Britain at 10-8.

Steve Stanley delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Fightin Phils. For the game, Stanley was 1 for 4.
