Mets Earn Win with Late Rally
Fans watched the Binghamton Mets and the Bowie Baysox fight to the finish.

The Binghamton Mets earned a close win over the Bowie Baysox, thanks in part to Augusto Rodríguez. The Binghamton left-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Aurelio Jiménez wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save.

Juan Montaña had a direct impact on the outcome. Montaña contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Binghamton up, 3-2.

"Nice to get this one," said Montaña. "We've been scuffling."

The Mets have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 5th win in 18 games.
